Unit 5: Elements of Curriculum
Source: Google
The learning on elements of curriculum was a successful learning. It was successful due to students' meaningful engagement in identifying the key elements used in curriculum frameworks. Students got into group to come up with an innovative way to presents elements we identified in our respective curriculum which is English and History. The platform used to present the outcome was telegram, digital posters, and paper posters. The knowledge on elements would not suffice only with peer work and peer teaching without a input of the teacher. The input given was short and on point which did not exhaust students compared to first unit lessons. Instead, the platform was mostly given to students to take responsibility of our own learning.

Additionally, the lesson was meaningful because of meaningful repetition of ideas presented. Three groups on English curriculum allowed me to understand the organization and designs of English curriculum framework. The presentation supplemented my knowledge on elements of curriculum I discovered while doing the group work. Besides, I also got to know what kind of curriculum elements are present in History curriculum as well despite, it not being my subject of expertise. Moreover, I was also introduced to cross curricular linkage which I found it insightful and amusing. I was given opportunity to look into English curriculum linked with history curriculum. Therefore, lesson taught on unit four was short , to point, and influential to remember it.
